We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of The Vertical
Wallpaper (the "App") to do the same. If you believe content in the App infringes your copyright or
other rights, you can ask us to remove it using the process below, and we will act promptly.
Fast path: email
theverticalcontact@gmail.com
with the subject "Copyright Takedown Request" and the details listed in Section 1. We aim to review valid
requests within
5 business days.
1. How to submit a takedown notice
To help us act quickly, please include all of the following:
- Your full name and contact details (email, and physical address if you are the rights holder or their
agent);
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other right you claim is infringed;
- Identification of the specific material in the App you want removed, with enough detail for us to
locate it (e.g. the wallpaper's title, category, and a screenshot);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its
agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and (where applicable, under the U.S.
DMCA) that under penalty of perjury you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.

2. What happens next
- We review the notice and, if it appears valid, remove or disable access to the identified content,
typically within a few business days;
- We may ask for clarification if the notice is incomplete;
- We keep a record of valid notices.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error or that you have the right to use it, you may send a
counter-notice to theverticalcontact@gmail.com including:
your contact details; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under
penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and
your consent to jurisdiction as required by applicable law. We may restore the content where permitted by
law.
4. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, remove content and restrict contributors who are the subject of
repeated valid infringement notices.
5. Misrepresentation
Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages. Please be
